A Toast to Delhi's Street Food Flavours
The Delhi Food Awards 2024 celebrated Delhi’s vibrant street food culture through
conversations, performances, and a prestigious awards ceremony. The event was held on 19th
October 2024 at Triveni Kala Sangam Auditorium, Mandi House.
The event featured panel discussions on street food tourism in India and the changing landscape
of food content creation, along with cultural performances including a Dastaangoi session and a
stand-up comedy act.
Ms. Gloria Berbena, Hon’ble Minister-Counselor
of Public
Diplomacy, U.S. Embassy, attended as Guest of Honour and felicitated the awardees.
Award winners were selected through a structured process combining public nominations, expert
reviews, and tasting sessions conducted by culinary professionals, ensuring a fair balance
between public opinion and professional evaluation.
The event was supported by Noori Masale as the Tastemaker Partner and
Radio City as the Radio Partner, whose contributions helped make the awards a
meaningful celebration of Delhi’s street food community.
A special acknowledgement for Mr. Archit Jain from Sangam Courtyard, who came on board as our Venue Partner. His proactive support and seamless coordination played a crucial role in ensuring tha awards were executed smoothly and at the highest standard.
