Celebrating Diverse Food Culture
The 2nd edition of the Delhi Food Awards, held on 25th March 2023 at Triveni Kala
Sangam, was a celebration of Delhi’s diverse and ever-evolving food culture, curated by Delhi
Food Walks, a platform dedicated to showcasing India’s street and regional cuisines through
immersive experiences and content.
Rooted in Delhi Food Walks’ larger mission of promoting socio-cultural identities through food,
the awards honoured street food vendors, local eateries, and culinary entrepreneurs who form the
backbone of the city’s food ecosystem.
By recognising authenticity, heritage, and grassroots innovation, the Delhi Food Awards play an
important role in giving visibility and dignity to unsung food heroes, while encouraging
responsible food tourism and the preservation of local culinary traditions.
